  4. You need of Spices (especially ginger powder, garlic powder, curry nd thyme).
  5. You need of Ground chilli pepper (yaji/barkonu).
  6. You need of Vegetable oil.
  7. It's of Water.

  1. Wash meat to remove dirt. Put in a pot. Add in cut onions, spices of choice, seasoning cubes, yaji and water. Stir..
  2. Close lid and put on heat source..
  3. Check and stir occasionally..
  4. Turn off heat source when the water has almost dried off. Please do not allow it to dry off. You can put in more water if you want to use the broth, but that means you may have to increase quantity of seasoning..
  5. Put a deep frying pan on heat source. Add in vegetable oil and some cuts of onion..
  6. Allow to heat up..
  7. Transfer the quantity of meat that is enough for one batch to a colander. Drain briefly and transfer immediately to hot oil..
  8. Fry..
  9. Transfer to a different colander when fried to drain excess oil. Put in a bowl and sprinkle yaji (chilli powder). Toss. You have to be fast in this step because the yaji will stick more to the meat when it's hot and still a bit moist with the oil..
