Ingredients of Dahi Handi Meat
- It's 500 Gram of mutton.
- It's 500 Gram of beaten curd.
- You need 3-4 of finely sliced onions.
- You need 2 tbsp of ginger, garlic and green chilli paste.
- It's 4 Tbsp of mustard oil.
- You need 3-4 of green cardamom smashed.
- Prepare 1 of bay leaf.
- It's 1 of small cinnamon stick.
- It's to taste of Salt.
- It's 1/2 tbsp of coriander powder.
- It's 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
- You need 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of meat masala.
- You need as needed of Ginger Juliennes for garish.
Dahi Handi Meat instructions
- Wash the mutton properly and drain all the water..
- In s pressure cooker add the mustard oil and on a high flame let it burn for 2 mins..
- Now let the oil cool down, turn on the flame again and add the whole dry spices..
- Now add the finely sliced onions and sauté till they become golden brown..
- Add the mutton and cook for 10 mins on a low flame..
- Now add the ginger garlic chilli paste and rest of the spices at once and add around 100 ml of water and pressure cook the whole thing for about 20 mins on low flame..
- Turn the gas off and let all the steam out..
- Add the beaten curd and finally cook for 20-25 mins again on a high flame or cook till the gravy thickens. if you don't find the mutton tender enough you can increasing the cooking time..
- Garnish it with ginger Juliennes and serve hot with Tawa chapati or naan..
